Silver Jubilee Celebration of Religious Commitment

Honouring Brothers Alois Ekka CR & Benedict Soreng CR

On June 8th, 2024, Nishkalanka Ashram in Ambikapur was filled with joy and reverence as the community gathered to celebrate the Silver Jubilee of Religious Commitment of our beloved Brothers Alois Ekka CR and Benedict Soreng CR. This significant milestone marked 25 years of committed life service and service to the Church.

The celebration began at 11 AM with a solemn Holy Mass presided over by His Excellency Most Rev. Antonis Bara D.D the Bishop of Ambikapur. The Mass was concelebrated with Bishop Emeritus Arch Bishop Most Rev. Paschal Topno SJ along with Rosarian Fathers, Brothers, Sisters, and members of neighbouring religious communities. The presence of the Jubilarians’ family members, friends, and relatives added to the joy and significance of the occasion.

Members from Rosarian Ashram in Jharsuguda and Malamaria Ashram in Sasharam also participated, reflecting the strong bonds and shared joy within the broader Rosarian community.

The Holy Mass was a deeply moving ceremony, highlighting the commitment and service of Brothers Alois Ekka CR and Benedict Soreng CR over the past 25 years. His Excellency Most Rev. Anthonies Bara D.D. delivered an inspiring homily, emphasizing the virtues of faithfulness, dedication, and love that have characterized the Jubilarians’ journey.

The participation of Rosarian Fathers, Brothers, and Sisters, along with the Jubilarians’ family members and friends, made it a truly memorable celebration. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Brothers Alois Ekka CR and Benedict Soreng CR. May their continued service inspire many may they be blessed with many more years of fruitful ministry.
