Fatimagiri Ashram
Fatimagiri Ashram is the first house of
the Congregation of the Rosarians in India. Servant
of God Antony Susainather with three brothers
founded this ashram on 13th February 1944. This
ashram is situated in the Vadakangulam parish,
diocese of Tuticorin. The First General Chapter
was held in this ashram. The body of the Servant
of God Antony Susainather was laid entombed in
front of the Church. Even today a good number of
people from various places visit his cemetery and
pray through him; and through his intercession
many miracles are happening. Servant of God
B. A. Thomas, the Founder of the Congregation of the Rosarians, came to India
to see his loving children at Fatimagiri Ashram on 25th February 1952. Fatimagiri
Ashram celebrated its silver jubilee in 1969 and golden jubilee in 1994 respectively. In
the past this house had served for the different stages of formation such as Aspirantate, Postulancy, Novitiate
and Juniorate. Now it serves as formation house for the Aspirants and spiritual centre for many souls
