Most Rev. Dr. Devadas Ambrose, the bishop of Tanjore was happy to invite the Rosarians to open a house in his diocese. Rev. Fr. K.P. Xavier CR, the Prior General with the consent of his Council searched for a suitable place for our Rosarian way of life. With the Divine Providence bought around 18 acres of land with a house in Needamangalam on the way to Vailankanni. The pioneer members Fr. Antony John CR and Bro. Antony Das CR were started living there in the month of September 2005. The house was too small to lead a community life. When Fr. Joseph was the Superior of Mangala Matha Ashram, by the Divine Providence through Mr. Lee Soon Teck and Mr. Yeo Boon Kwang, a new house was constructed. The new building was blessed and opened by His Excellency Most Rev. Dr. Devadas Ambrose and Rev. Fr. K.P. Xavier CR, the Prior General on the Divine Mercy Sunday, 3^rd April 2016. The Donors’ wish was that the chapel should be dedicated to Divine Mercy. This home serves as spiritual abode for many people and religious around the place in the Diocese of Tanjore.
