General Assembly – I: for Brothers Held at Rosarian Generalate

The Rosarian Congregation witnessed a significant moment of unity and renewal as the General Assembly for Brothers was organized by Very Rev. Fr. Charles Serrao, Pontifical Commissary, from September 10th to 12th, 2025, at the Rosarian Generalate.

After the welcome and introduction talk of Fr. Pontifical Commissary, Former Prior General Rev. Fr. S. Justin Raj CR presented 7 years of report on spiritual and material conditions of the congregation which includes the report of the Regional Superior Rev. Fr. A.F. Jeyaseelan CR. It was open for discussion.

The Assembly brought together 40 Brothers and 5 priests, along with members of the Pontifical Commissary team, creating an enriching atmosphere of dialogue, discernment, and fraternity.

Over the three days, the participants reflected on the present journey of the Congregation and engaged in discussions on key aspects of religious life, community living, apostolic mission, and the way forward. The sessions included moments of prayer, input sharing, and open dialogue that helped foster deeper understanding and strengthened bonds of communion among the Brothers.

Fr. Charles Serrao, in his role as Pontifical Commissary, guided the Assembly with insightful directions, encouraging openness, faithfulness to the charism, and renewed commitment to the mission entrusted to the Rosarian Brothers.

The meeting was marked by fruitful sharing and constructive discussions, leaving the participants motivated to carry forward the spirit of brotherhood, service, and dedication in their respective communities and ministries.

This General Assembly was not only an opportunity to evaluate and plan but also a time of fraternal encounter that reaffirmed the vitality and hope within the Congregation.

Bro. Sylvester CR gave a vote of thanks and with a thanksgiving hymn the Assembly was concluded.
