First Thanksgiving Holy Mass Celebrated at Rosarian Generalate, Bengaluru

On July 21, 2024, the Rosarian Generalate in Bengaluru witnessed a momentous event as newly ordained priests, Rev. Fr. Joshy Perinchery CR and Rev. Fr. Nijo Maliyekkal CR, celebrated their first Thanksgiving Holy Mass. The ceremony was marked by deep reverence and joy, as members of both the Rosarian Generalate and Rosarian Training Centre communities gathered to participate in this sacred occasion.

Very Rev. Fr. Justin Raj CR, the Prior General gave a heartfelt introduction. He congratulated the newly ordained priests and warmly welcomed them to offer the Holy Mass. His words set a tone of gratitude and encouragement, reflecting the significance of this milestone in the lives of Rev. Fr. Joshy Perinchery CR and Rev. Fr. Nijo Maliyekkal CR.

The Holy Mass saw a harmonious blend of solemnity and celebration. Rev. Fr. Joshy Perinchery CR led the sung Mass, his voice resonating with devotion and praise. Rev. Fr. Nijo Maliyekkal CR delivered an inspiring homily, his words inspired the faithful gathered. The congregation included members of both the RG and RTC communities, along with four Rosarian sisters and several faithful attending the Sunday Holy Mass. Their presence added to the sense of community and shared faith that permeated the event.

Following the Holy Mass, the community gathered in the Rosarian Generalate refectory for a joyous celebration. The new priests marked the occasion with a cake cutting ceremony, symbolizing their entry into a new chapter of their spiritual journey. Very Rev. Fr. Justin Raj CR extended his wishes and offered sage advice for their future endeavours. The celebration continued with everyone sharing breakfast together, exchanging greetings, and revealing in the joyous atmosphere.

This first Thanksgiving Holy Mass was not just a religious ceremony, but a testament to faith, dedication, and community spirit. It was a day filled with blessings, joy, and heartfelt celebrations, marking a significant milestone for Rev. Fr. Joshy Perinchery CR and Rev. Fr. Nijo Maliyekkal CR.
