Servant of God Antony Susainather, CR, A Silent Hermit. He was born in 18-12-1882 in Tuticorin Tamilnadu. He was a liberator and a reformer who liberated souls from the clutches of Satan. As a social reformer he set free the oppressed and the low caste citizens from the fetters of bonded labour, social taboos and suppressed status. The people of Uvari parish in Tuticorin Diocese are the living witnesses to this. He was active pastor for 24 years in the Diocese of Tuticorin and joined the Congregation of the Rosarians on 27.04.1939. He was known as silent sage/ Hermit lived a witnessing life and called to eternal rest on 8^th June 1968. His beatification cause in the Roman Phase.
