The Congregation of the Rosarians celebrated their Titular Feast on October 7, 2025, with deep devotion and festive joy. This annual celebration honors Our Lady of the Rosary, the heavenly patroness of the Congregation, who continues to guide, protect, and inspire every Rosarian in their spiritual journey and apostolic mission.
The solemn celebration took place at the Rosarian Generalate, in collaboration with the Rosarian Training Centre community. The day began with an atmosphere of prayer and thanksgiving, bringing together Rosarian priests, brothers, religious, and well-wishers who share in the mission and vision of the Congregation.
Solemn High Mass Presided by the Pontifical Commissary
The highlight of the day was the Solemn High Mass, presided over by Most Rev. Fr. Charles Serrao, OCD, the Pontifical Commissary of the Congregation of the Rosarians. Concelebrating with him were Rosarian priests and several religious from neighboring communities.
The homily was preached by Rev. Fr. S. Justin Raj CR one of his assistants reflected on the profound mystery of the Rosary as a prayer that leads us to meditate on the life of Jesus through the eyes of Mary. He reminded everyone that the Blessed Virgin Mary continues to be the Mother, Guide, Inspiration and Protection of the Congregation in their journey of service to God and humanity.
The liturgy, marked by beautifully chosen hymns and heartfelt participation, created an atmosphere of deep reverence and spiritual joy.
Moments of Fellowship and Thanksgiving
After the Eucharistic celebration, Fr. Serrao extended his heartfelt wishes and gratitude to all the members of the Congregation. He congratulated the Rosarian Superiors, formators, and community members for their dedication to the growth and renewal of the Congregation.
The celebration continued with a fellowship festive lunch, where all participants shared in joyful communion. A festal cake was ceremoniously cut and shared by the Pontifical Commissary along with the Superiors, symbolizing unity, gratitude, and the brotherhood that defines the Rosarian spirit. The event radiated warmth, simplicity, and a strong sense of community.
A Day to Remember
The celebration of the Titular Feast of the Congregation of the Rosarians was a true testament to their unity and deep Marian devotion. It rekindled the spirit of fraternity, service, and missionary enthusiasm among all who took part.
As the day came to a close, hearts were filled with thanksgiving to Our Lady of the Rosary, whose maternal guidance continues to sustain the Congregation in its journey of faith. The Rosarian family renewed its commitment to live out its motto with renewed conviction:
“To Jesus through Mary, by the Rosary.”
