For the first time since assuming leadership of the Congregation of the Rosarians, Very Rev. Fr. Charles Serrao, OCD, Pontifical Commissary, convened a Superiors and Bursars Meeting from August 12–14, 2025, at the Rosarian Generalate.
The gathering was a landmark initiative to strengthen the administrative and financial transparency of the Congregation. To guide the participants, an expert resource person, Rev. Fr. Arun Lobo OCD, Procurator of Karnataka Goa Province of OCD, was invited to deliver sessions on Accounting and Auditing, offering valuable insights and practical guidelines for effective stewardship of temporal goods.
The meeting drew nearly 50 participants, including Superiors, Bursars, the Pontifical Commissary himself, along with his Assistants and Bursar. The interactive sessions provided a platform for sharing challenges, enhancing accountability, and fostering collaborative leadership across the Congregation.
This initiative reflects the commitment of the new leadership to ensure good governance, accountability, and financial integrity, thereby supporting the spiritual and apostolic mission of the Congregation.
