Bengaluru, October 27, 2024 – Every year in October Rosary devotion is organized by the Carmelaram Theology College community and 10 other Religious communities joining celebrate it. In the spirit of October, the month dedicated to honouring Marian devotion through the Rosary, around 200 faithful from various communities of the Carmelaram Complex gathered for a special evening of Rosary Devotion. The event, held at the Rosarian Generalate in Bengaluru, ran from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
The evening began with an inspiring introduction by Rev. Fr. Sahayadasan CR, the Vicar General, who offered reflections on the Rosary’s significance and led the Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. His words highlighted Pope Benedict XVI’s thoughts on the Rosary as a path to prayer that embodies Mary’s simplicity and spiritual depth, a fitting reflection for those gathered with the desire to deepen their own journey in the art of prayer.
Under the soft evening sky, the solemn recitation of the Rosary was enriched with hymns and prayers in multiple languages, uniting the participants in a profound expression of faith and community. The cool breeze and the serene ambiance further enhanced the sacred atmosphere.
Rev. Fr. Bastian CR, the Prior of RTC, concluded the devotion with a Benediction, blessing those present before the final Marian hymn. The event closed with refreshments, providing an opportunity for fellowship among the gathered faithful.
The Rosary Devotion serves as a reminder of the beauty and strength of communal prayer, especially in October, when Catholics worldwide celebrate the Rosary. This cherished tradition at Carmelaram is a testament to the devotion’s lasting resonance in the hearts of the faithful. This evening of prayer and reflection at the Rosarian Generalate in Bangalore not only honoured Mary but also brought the Carmelaram community together in a shared act of faith and devotion. IT was an event that brought Grace and Blessings of God to everyone.
