Feast Day of St. Justin the Martyr
On June 1st, 2024, the Rosarian Generalate and Rosarian Training Centre (RTC) in Bengaluru celebrated the feast day of St. Justin the Martyr, a significant event marked by the Patronal Feast day of Rev. Fr. Justin Raj CR, the Prior General of the Rosarian Congregation. The celebration was a beautiful blend of reverence and joy, bringing together community members in a spirit of unity and devotion.
The festivities commenced with a Holy Mass at 11:30 AM, with Fr. Justin Raj CR serving as the main celebrant. Rev. Fr. Sahayadasan CR, the Vicar General, provided an inspiring introduction, setting the tone for the solemn yet joyous occasion.
In his homily, Fr. Justin Raj CR delivered a powerful message about St. Justin the Martyr, encouraging everyone to be a sign and witness of Christ in their lives. His words resonated deeply with the congregation, challenging them to embody the virtues of faith and perseverance exemplified by St. Justin.
The celebration saw participation from both the Rosarian Generalate and RTC community members, with additional attendance from the parish priest of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, Rev. Fr. Rajesh. Despite not extending formal invitations, the Mass was well-attended, reflecting the strong communal bonds within the Rosarian family.
At the conclusion of the Holy Mass, Fr. Justin Raj CR expressed his gratitude to all present, acknowledging the collective effort and spirit that made the day special. The community then gathered in the Rosarian Generalate Refectory, where they extended their greetings to Fr. Justin Raj CR.
The atmosphere was filled with joy as the Theology, Philosophy, and Junior Brothers sang a heartfelt wishing song. This was followed by a cake-cutting ceremony, with Rev. Bro. Justin Osga CR joining Rev. Fr. Justin Raj CR in this celebratory moment. Everyone enjoyed a delicious lunch, further enhancing the sense of fellowship and celebration. Many religious priests and sisters from the Carmelaram complex also came to offer their best wishes to Fr. Justin Raj CR, adding to the warmth and solidarity of the day.
