On 26th August 2025, the Rosarian family came together to joyfully celebrate the 75th Birthday of Very Rev. Fr. Charles Serrao OCD. The occasion was marked with simplicity, gratitude, and fraternity, reflecting the spirit of the celebrant himself.
The day began with a Solemn Holy Mass, offered in thanksgiving to God for the gift of Fr. Charles’s life and his 75 years of dedicated service in the vineyard of the Lord. The Eucharistic celebration was attended by Rosarian fathers, sisters, friends, and well-wishers, who joined in prayerful gratitude for his witness as a Carmelite priest.
Following the Holy Mass, a fellowship lunch was arranged, where all the participants shared in joyful communion. The gathering was a moment to express appreciation for Fr. Charles’s life of commitment, his inspiring presence, and his years of spiritual guidance to the Rosarian community.
The celebration, though kept simple, was filled with affection and heartfelt wishes. Fr. Charles, in his message, thanked the Lord for His abundant blessings, and expressed his gratitude to the Rosarians for their love and prayers.
This special milestone not only marked three quarters of a century of life but also highlighted the richness of his journey as a Carmelite priest a journey of prayer, service, and dedication.
